How Nail Clarity earns revenue and what that means for you

What This Disclosure Covers

Some pages and articles on Nail Clarity contain affiliate links, including links to Amazon and to ClickBank. If you follow one of those links and go on to buy the product or programme, the seller pays us a share of that sale. That share comes out of the seller’s margin: your total at the checkout is what it would have been had you arrived at the page any other way, nothing is added on, and your payment details never pass through us.

Amazon Associates

Nail Clarity is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

We don’t quote Amazon prices or star ratings in our articles, because both change constantly. Check the current price and reviews on Amazon before you buy.

Why We Use Affiliate Links

Commissions are how the site pays for itself. They cover hosting, the journal and database access we use to check claims, and the hours that go into rewriting an article when the guidance behind it changes. We carry no display advertising and sell no products of our own, so this is the only way a page here earns anything.

What Affiliate Relationships Do Not Mean

An affiliate relationship does not mean we endorse any product or programme as a medical treatment, that we guarantee any outcome, or that our editorial coverage of a topic is influenced by whether a commission is available. A page that can earn money is held to the same wording rules as a page that cannot — no cure claims, no promised timelines for clearing an infection, no suggestion that anyone skip seeing a doctor — set out in our Editorial Policy.

Specifically:

  • We do not present affiliate products as substitutes for medical care or prescription treatment
  • We do not claim that any product or programme will cure or guarantee removal of nail fungus
  • We do not use fear, false urgency or misleading health claims to encourage purchases
  • We do not promote products we consider harmful or irresponsible for the intended audience

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Articles containing affiliate links carry a clearly labelled disclosure box within the article, and every page of the site repeats the notice in the footer. The wording varies from one article to the next; every version states that a purchase made through the link may earn us a commission and that your price is unaffected by it. Buttons and links that lead to a seller are affiliate links.

Affiliate links are marked with rel="nofollow sponsored" attributes in the HTML, as required by search engine guidelines and standard affiliate disclosure practice.

Compliance

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, and with relevant advertising standards in other jurisdictions. We are committed to transparency about commercial relationships on this site.
